1. Summary
- Each add-on works inside the spreadsheet you have open, only while you use it. None of them runs in the background.
- MapRows reads only the cells you choose (addresses or coordinates), sends that text to Geoapify to get results, and writes them back into your spreadsheet.
- CalendarRows creates, updates and deletes events in the Google Calendar you pick, from the rows you send, and imports events you ask for into a new tab. It reads your list of calendars only to show the calendar picker. Your data moves only between Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
- LabelRows reads the rows you choose and writes labels into a new Google Doc in your Drive. It can open only the files it creates, never your other files.
- If you use a Pro license in MapRows or CalendarRows, the add-on sends your license key, a random installation ID and the add-on's name to our license server at cellbrook.com to check your subscription. LabelRows makes no web requests of its own, not even to us.
- We operate no servers that receive or store your spreadsheet, calendar or document data. Our only server, the license check, never receives cell contents, events or documents. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice on your device; it is never sent to us.
2. Information the add-ons access from Google
Each add-on asks Google only for the permissions (“scopes”) it needs, and you see them on Google's consent screen before you allow them. MapRows and CalendarRows use the permission to access only the spreadsheets you use them with (not your other spreadsheets) and the permission to show their sidebar. LabelRows uses the permission to access only the spreadsheet it is open in, while you use it, and shows its settings in Google’s add-on side panel, which needs no extra permission.
MapRows
- Reads the header row and the columns you select (for example addresses or latitude/longitude).
- Writes new result columns (coordinates, address parts, distances, statuses) and, if you ask, a “MapRows map” sheet with a map image.
- Does not request your email address, contacts, calendar, Google Drive files, Gmail or any other Google account data.
CalendarRows
- Spreadsheet: reads the header row and the rows you send (the columns you map). Adds two columns, “CalendarRows event ID” and “CalendarRows status”, with small cell notes that hold the calendar's ID and a fingerprint of each row so that later runs can update the right event. An import creates a new tab with the events you asked for.
- Calendar events (Google permission to view and edit events on your calendars): CalendarRows creates, updates and deletes events only in the calendar you pick, only for the rows you send, and only when you click Send. When you import, it reads the events in the calendar and date range you choose (title, times, location, description, guests, colour, status and link, as you select) and writes them into the new tab. Each event it creates carries a hidden marker saying it was made by CalendarRows. It does not read, change or delete any other events.
- Calendar list (read-only): reads the names, IDs, time zones and your access level for the calendars in your list, to show the calendar picker and which calendars you can edit. It does not change your calendar list or settings.
- Guests: email addresses in a Guests column are added to the event as guests, with Google Calendar's option not to send invitation or update emails. CalendarRows sends no email itself.
- Does not request your email address, contacts, Google Drive files or Gmail.
LabelRows
- Spreadsheet, only the one it is open in (Google’s
spreadsheets.currentonlypermission): reads the sheet names, the header row and the rows you choose to print (as the cells display them), only while you use LabelRows, to fill in the labels and the preview. It does not change your spreadsheet. - Google Drive, only files LabelRows creates (Google's
drive.filepermission): LabelRows creates a new Google Doc in your Drive and writes the labels into it through the Google Docs API. With this permission it can open only the files it created itself. It cannot see, open or change your other Docs or Drive files. - Does not request your email address, contacts, calendar or Gmail.
- Makes no web requests of its own: no license check, and nothing is sent to Cellbrook or anyone else. (Google loads its icon from cellbrook.com, and its Help, Privacy and Terms links open our website only when you click them.)
3. Who processes your data
| Service | Role | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Geoapify | Processor (geocoding, routing and map provider). MapRows only | The text of the cells you select in MapRows (addresses or coordinates), and the points of any map you insert. Requests come from Google's servers, not your device. | To return geocoding, routing and map results. Geoapify states that it keeps request data for access control and usage counting, generally for no longer than 24 hours for successful requests. |
| Google (Apps Script, Sheets, Calendar, Docs) | Platform the add-ons run on, and the Google services you use them with | Your spreadsheet, calendar events and label Docs stay in your own Google account. Add-on settings (section 4) and technical error logs | To run the add-ons and do what you ask |
| Stripe | Payment processor (processor for us; independent controller for its own fraud-prevention and legal duties) | At checkout: the email, billing address and payment details you give it | To take payments, run Pro subscriptions, send receipts and provide the customer portal |
| Our license server (cellbrook.com) | Run by us, hosted by Hostinger | From MapRows or CalendarRows, only when you activate or use a Pro license key: the key, a random installation ID and the add-on's name. From Stripe: your subscription status, plan, renewal date and checkout email | To confirm that a Pro subscription is active |
| Hostinger | Website host (processor) | Standard server logs when you visit cellbrook.com (IP address, browser, page requested) | Security and operation of the website |
| Titan | Email provider for support@cellbrook.com (processor) | Emails you send us | To answer support requests |
CalendarRows uses no third-party service apart from Google and, for Pro, our license server. LabelRows uses no service apart from Google. MRSLM Group LLC is the seller of Pro subscriptions. Stripe gives us the order details we need to provide Pro, handle tax and give support (such as your email, billing country and postal code, plan, payment status, and your card's brand and last four digits). We never receive your full card number.
4. Information stored by the add-ons
The add-ons use Google Apps Script's built-in property storage, which lives with your Google account on Google's infrastructure, not on our servers:
- MapRows, private to your Google account: your license key and its status; today's usage count; the progress of an unfinished task in each spreadsheet (row numbers and settings, not cell contents); and your own Geoapify key if you add one. Shared across MapRows: a daily total of lookups used (a number only) and our Geoapify API key.
- CalendarRows, private to your Google account: your license key and its status, a random installation ID, today's count of calendar changes, and the progress of an unfinished send in each spreadsheet (sheet name, column positions, the chosen calendar's ID and name, and row numbers, not cell contents).
- LabelRows, private to your Google account: your last-used settings (label size, font, text style, which rows and printer nudge) and, for each sheet you use it with, the label text you wrote (for example
{{Name}}lines), stored under that spreadsheet’s ID and sheet name. No cell contents and no license key.
What the add-ons create stays in your own Google account: result columns and tabs in your spreadsheet, events in your calendar, and label Docs in your Drive.
On our license server, for each Pro subscription we keep: the Stripe subscription and customer IDs, its status and renewal date, the checkout email, and up to three random installation IDs. We use them only to check licenses and help with support, and delete them when they are no longer needed for those purposes or for our legal obligations.
Google may record technical error logs for the add-ons (for example error messages), which we can see in the Google Cloud console. We use them only to fix problems and do not intentionally log spreadsheet, calendar or document contents.
5. Google API Services: Limited Use
Cellbrook's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This applies to MapRows, CalendarRows and LabelRows.
- We use Google user data only to provide the features you use in each add-on, as described in section 2.
- We do not transfer it to anyone, except to Geoapify as described in section 3 to provide MapRows' features, where necessary for security or to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. CalendarRows and LabelRows transfer Google user data to no one: it moves only between your Google services.
- We do not use it, or transfer it, for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not use Google user data, including data from Google Workspace APIs such as Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Sheets, to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models.
- No person at MRSLM Group LLC reads it unless you ask us to for support and give permission, it is needed for security or legal compliance, or it has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
6. This website
cellbrook.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Its only script is a few lines that apply the light or dark theme and open the menu on small screens. If you press the theme button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key cb-theme, value light or dark) so the next page opens the same way. It stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and you can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser. All fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our host keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
Email updates. Some free template pages have an optional form to get emails about new and updated templates. If you use it, we store your email address, the page you signed up on, the time and the version of the consent wording on our own server (not with a mailing-list service), and we get a copy by email at support@cellbrook.com. We use it only to send those emails, never sell or share it, and delete it when you unsubscribe by replying “unsubscribe” or writing to support@cellbrook.com. The form is never needed to download a template.
7. Retention and deletion
- What the add-ons create (spreadsheet results, calendar events, label Docs) stays in your Google account, under your control, until you delete it. Uninstalling an add-on does not remove events or Docs it made for you.
- Stored settings (section 4) are kept until you remove them. In MapRows and CalendarRows, the Account tab lets you remove your license key (and in MapRows your own Geoapify key). LabelRows’ settings are replaced whenever you change them. Daily usage counters are cleared automatically. You can revoke an add-on's access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Email-update signups (section 6) are kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted.
- Order and payment records (at Stripe and in our accounts) and support emails are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR, or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise your rights, email support@cellbrook.com.
9. Security
All connections from the add-ons to outside services use HTTPS, and each add-on can only contact the addresses listed in its manifest: MapRows api.geoapify.com, maps.geoapify.com and cellbrook.com/api/maprows/; CalendarRows only cellbrook.com/api/license/. LabelRows makes no web requests of its own. Their work with Google Sheets, Calendar and Docs goes through Google's own APIs. Card details are entered only on Stripe's checkout page and never pass through our servers. This website is served only over HTTPS.
10. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. International transfers
We and Stripe are based in the United States, and Geoapify hosts its servers with Hetzner. Using MapRows means the cell text you select may be processed outside your country. CalendarRows and LabelRows keep your data within Google's services.
12. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. For material changes, we will also tell you in the add-on or by email to Pro customers.
